Congratulations on unlocking the Contorted Realm, the 15th realm in Peaks of Time. Here you will find a full walkthrough through the whole realm from start to end to complete this realm as fast as possible
Recommended Hero Levels: 240
You might be able to clear all Golden Chest in the Contorted Realm with like 2x Level 240 Heroes that carry your team, but you will never be able to beat the boss fights unless you have a full team of Level 240 heroes. If you want the dust, you can still follow this guide until you get to the boss fights in the last steps.
But enough of that now and let’s talk about the Contorted Realm itself… Actually, the Contorted Realm is quite straightforward, the only special thing here is that there are portals that will bring you back to a certain point that you can activate yourself. Those are jump gates and each portal will get you back to the last jump gate that you activated.
This could get you stuck but it’s actually pretty straightforward – and if you follow my step-by-step guide below you don’t need to think about 😉

So, without any further ado let’s jump right into the walkthrough.
Step 1 – the beginning is pretty straight. You need to go over the jump gate and then to the island on top where you will find 5 Golden Chests that you need to collect. After that you can use the portal in the middle that will take you back to the initial jump gate in the beginning:
Step 2 – in the next section you will find the first enemies as well as two options to continue. My recommendation is that you do NOT activate the jump gate and go to the southern exit.
The reason is not that you get stuck if you go left, but you will need to face a some harder camps there earlier and going south will give you some more relics before you need to fight them – simply an easier option in my opinion. Important: I forgot… You can clear up all 4 camps for easy relics, of course. Just don’t activate the jump gate in the middle.
Step 3 – Follow the path to the south and you will end up in another section with camps and a jump gate (like you can see in the picture). Here you will also fight off all the camps as well as activating the jump gate. After that you go to the right where you will find another island with a camp and several Golden Chests:
The camp there is a couple levels higher as the ones that you have fought so far in the Contorted Realm but you should actually be able to beat it (otherwise you have no chance of beating the bosses later). After having done that, use the portal to get back to the jump gate you activated in the beginning of this step:
Step 4 – now that you are back at the last jumping gate you now go upwards where you will find one more battle camp. After that you go right but do NOT activate this jumping gate now, we will use the next one twice! This is important.
Only finish the fairly easy camps there and collect the Golden Chests but don’t activate the jumping point. (Update: Actually it’s not a problem if you do because we activate another one right after that anyway) After that point go to the right (not upwards):
Step 5 – so, you’re now at the next point where you have three options. First of all you NEED to activate the jumping gate in the middle!
Then you can go path #1 and fight the camps there, collect the Golden Chests and use the teleport back. Next up follow path #2 and also clean all the camps there and collect the Golden Chests and teleport back. When you’ve done this you can walk up to path #3 to leave this section that you’re done with now 🙂
Step 6 – now you will see the first boss fight with Level 310 enemy heroes. This fight really requires you to have a full Level 240 team set up.
If you’re only in there to get the Golden Chests you can skip this battle, if you want to clean the Contorted Realm you need to fight this boss now. After that you do NOT use the jump gate, you need to walk to the left.
Step 7 – at the next point you only need to do the one battle for another relic and collect the Golden Chests. There’s no need but also no negative from activating the jump gate, you simply don’t need it. Keeping moving to the right after that.
Step 8 – when you keep moving left (and collect the Golden Chest and do the battle you find on your way), you will come back to the section that you might remember from Step 2.
This time you will walk towards the top where you find another camp with a relic and 2 Golden Chests.
Step 9 – now activate the jump gate here, it will be important. After that go to the top left section where you will find more Golden Chests and a portal back to the jump gate that you just activated. After that it’s time to fight the bosses.
I’d start with the one right there but it’s the tougher one – if you have troubles taking care of him you can also walk towards the right where you have more boss fights that are a little bit easier.
They can give you some legendary relics that make you stronger plus one portal back to the jump gate. This approach helped me a lot when tryiing to finish the Contorted Realm.
