The next realm in Voyage of Wonders is coming and it’s called the Fields of Ice. If found the last Voyage of Wonders already pretty fun and this one is similar, also with new puzzle elements like the Steam Cannon.
Fields of Ice General & Rewards
You need to make your way through the map of Fields of Ice by pathing through laser beams that block your path. That’s basically it. You will use the steam cannons and carts so nothing really surprising here.
I liked that this puzzle is challenging enough but not too difficult – but that’s my personal opinion. I know there are some of you out there that want harder puzzles and others dislike the puzzle aspect entirely.
The rewards are not that astonishing, actually. You will get 10x Stargazing Cards along with several event token for the upcoming Talene Skin event and some boosters as well. There’s also a 10x Faction Emblem Choice Chest in one of the Golden Chests, so I’d say it’s alright as reward.
It’s alright and I think the 10x Stargazing Cards are useful for any player out there and I wouldn’t be mad if the developers will keep that as the main reward for future Voyage of Wonders realms…
Fields of Ice Walkthrough
As always, you will find a full walkthrough for the realm here:
Step 1 – right at the start walk left, that’s the only option you have with the first camp right in front of you.
Then you will reach the first steam cannon that you need to use, it will create some frozen tiles that will block that laser so you can pass through.
Step 2 – next you need to clear all the camps in that area before you move that cart on the tracks to the upper position.
Once the cart is out of the way, you can use the steam cannon on the left side to block the laser.
Step 3 – now step on that red stone next to the red lever and use the lever to get yourself up on the top floor.
There you need to use the blue lever to rise up that barrel on the blue stone next to the red stone.
Once done, use the cannon there to destroy that barrel.
Then fight the camp, collect the chest and use the portal on top to get back to the main floor of the Fields of Ice.
Step 4 – now use the red lever once again and then the steam cannon on top of that section:
After using the steam cannon, use the red lever once again.
Now you can clear up all the camps in that section of the Fields of Ice and you can also collect the first Crystal Chest on the left side, rewarding you with the first 5x Stargazing Cards.
Step 5 – now it’s time to unlock the path to the next section of the Fields of Ice and you need to lower the red and blue stone at the same time to be able to pass through:
To do that, go up to the first floor through the red stone once more, use the blue lever to lower the blue stone, and then go back to the ground level through the portal. Now you can lower the red stone and the path to the next section is open.
Step 6 – fight through that line of camps and collect the Golden Chests and you will reach the last section of the Fields of Ice. No worries, it’s happening quite fast now.
You need to use the left steam cannon first before you use the tracks to move the steam generator tile to the upper position on the tracks.
Then you use the right steam cannon and it will block both laster beams and the path towards the final boss fight is clear.
That’s it, you just cleared the Fields of Ice 🙂
