The new realm in Voyage of Wonders is coming and it’s called Runaway Crystabugs. It’s not the longest one we’ve seen so far but one that I actually enjoyed. The interesting aspect about the Crystabugs (except they are super fun to watch) is that they will interact with everything on the map exactly like you would so arranging them in the right way is the key to solve this realm.

Runaway Crystabugs General & Rewards
As always, I won’t spoil anything about the storyline in my guide but this time that
s not too hard as there’s not a storyline other than Mirael and Raine taking a random task herding Crystabugs.
Runaway Crystabugs revolves around awaking a Crystabug so the other ones follow to that position. Your only task is to gather them all up and you will be able to open the final two Crystal Chests.
Talking about rewards… they are not that bad looking at the complexity level of Runaway Crystabugs:
The final two Crystal Chests will reward you with 10x Faction Summon Scrolls and 3000x Crystals. I know some would prefer Stargazing Cards but that’s not too bad after all!
Other than that we also get some Gold/Dust/EXP chests, Furniture Coins and Emblems (including 10x Faction Emblem Choice Chest). Overall okay I’d say.

Runaway Crystabugs Walkthrough
As always, you will find a full walkthrough for the realm here. With that being said, let’s not waste any more time and jump right into the walkthrough for Runaway Crystabugs.

Step 1 – after the short introduction conversation that Mirael and Raine have, you will find yourself in a small compartment. Clear the camp there and step on the stone (1) and awaken the sleeping Crystabug. The other one will step on your position on the stone and hold it down so you can collect the Golden Chest and keep the spikes down (2).
Then go to the next compartment, cleat the two camps there and collect the two Golden Chests and awaken the next sleeping Crystabug (3).
Step 2 – with all Crystabugs lined up, use the snowman to generate a snowball (1). The Crystabugs will stop it on the stone so it will keep the stone pressed down and the spikes will keep underground. Now use the portal (2) to get to the bottom spot and go to the right and clear all the camps there and collect all the Golden Chests. At the end of the path you will find another Crystabug (3) that you can awaken now:
Step 3 – the Crystabugs now have blocked the laser to the top section of the map so you can go there and clear the camps and collect the Golden Chest (1). Follow that path to the left and clear all the camps you see on your way and awaken the next Crystabug there (2). Now enter the compartment to the top and follow to the left and fight the camp at the very end (3) to collect the last remaining Golden Chest of the realm:
Step 4 – don’t get intimidated by the amount of camps you see there, you can completely ignore them (1). All you need to do to finish Runaway Crystabugs now is to go to the remaining sleeping Crystabug (2) and awaken him.
The other Crystabugs will get into the correct lineup to open the final spot (3) with the Crystal Chests that you can now collect.
