The new realm in Voyage of Wonders is coming and it’s called Ice Isles. This time we have a really nice puzzle inside the realm that made a lot of fun solving.
Ice Isles General & Rewards
You have to lure two elementals through the map and get them to the final position to get the final reward. The interesting thing is that you need to use the runes to lure them a a lot of different levers (can’t remember having seen that many colors for levers so far) to open the right path for them.
The rewards for Ice Isles are pretty much the same as last time, with 10x Stargazing Cards as the main reward in the final Crystal Chest. The Golden Chests have boosters but also emblems (including 10x Faction Emblem Choice Chest) as well as some Furniture Coins.
I think it’s fine for the difficulty level of Ice Isles and Stargazing Cards can be useful to anyone, right?
Ice Isles Walkthrough
As always, you will find a full walkthrough for the realm here. With that being said, let’s not waste any more time and jump right into the walkthrough for Ice Isles.
Step 1 – right after the intro conversation you will find yourself next to the ice elemental. Walk to the red lever and use it from the top position once, then use the fire rune on top.
The fire elemental will go there and activate the portal. Then clear the camp on top and collect the first Golden Chest before stepping into the portal the fire elemental has just created.
Step 2 – in the next section of Ice Isles walk to the left top position where you need to activate the ice rune (1). Then go to the yellow lever and use it once (2). The ice elemental will now go to the ice rune. After that happened, use the yellow lever once more (3):
Step 3 – now ignite the altar next to the yellow lever (1) and walk to the bottom section. There you need to move the railroad switch to the bottom position (2) to be able to walk to the left side where you need to activate the next fire rune (3):
Step 4 – now go to the right side of the railroad switch and move it back to the top position (1). Now collect the 3 Golden Chests that you can reach from here. After you’ve done that, use the blue lever (2) once and the ice elemental will move and turn off the fire altar.
Then use the fire altar on top of your position (3) and the yellow lever (4) as well so the fire elemental can move to the top section and activate the next portal. Use this portal as well to get to the next section of Ice Isles.
Step 5 – now use the teal lever once (1) and then clear the two camps with the Golden Chests in the area. Then go to the purple lever and use it once as well (2).
After that, go to the top section and activate the altar there (3). This will trigger the ice elemental and it will go there and deactivate the altar there.
Step 6 – now move the railroad switch to the right position (1) to block the ice elemental path and use the purple lever once more (2). The go to the top right position of Ice Isles and activate the fire altar (3):
Step 7 – now go back and use the lower railroad switch to set it to the right position (1) and the second ice elemental will chase the altar you lit up in the previous step and will be in the final position. Then use the teal lever (2) once and activate the fire altar (3) to make the fire elemental move to that position:
Step 8 – now move the bottom railroad switch back to the left position (1) and activate the altar at the position where you entered that section of Ice Isles (2). The use the people lever once more (3):
Go to the top-left position and move the railroad switch of the top railroad to the left position (4) and the ice elemental that you locked in there will go to the altar you just activated and will meet his final position there. Then use the teal lever once again (5) to lock the ice elemental in the section before you need to activate the top altar once more (6):
The other ice elemental will now walk to the top altar to deactivate it.
Step 9 – now use the railroad switch again to set the railroad wagon to the right position (1) and lock the ice elemental in there. Then use the lower railroad switch to set the waggon there to the right position (2). In a final step use the fire rune on the right side (3) of the Ice Isles to lure the fire elemental:
Now you created the portal for the final Crystal Chest but make sure to fight all the camps in the current section before using the portal to finish the Ice Isles.
